Patrick Joseph Meyer

Patrick Joseph Meyer 56 years young, a resident of Amherst, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Wednesday February 14, 2024 in Akron, Ohio.

Patrick was retired from the Ford Motor company where he worked for 14 years. Patrick loved music, he felt it in his soul. He had an amazing singing voice, was an extremely talented drummer and guitar player no matter what genre. Patrick always amazed those who were lucky enough to hear him show off his talents. Patrick was an experienced craftsman who could work with metal, welding and any carpentry task. He loved repairing things. Patrick had an infectious smile and a laugh that was contagious.

Patrick was a proud and loving father to Brittany McKernan (Bryan) and Nicholas Meyer who preceded him in death. Dearest grandfather to Madison Brzezowski and Wyatt McKernan. Patrick was the beloved son of Robert and Joan Meyer who both preceded him in death. Cherished brother of Steven Meyer, Bob (Mary) Meyer, Nancy (Mary) Meyer, and Mark (Lori) Meyer. Patrick spent many of his last years showing his love and devotion to his parents by caring for them in their golden years. 

Patrick also leaves to cherish his memory many close friends who he loved deeply and who loved him. Those who were lucky to know him knew he truly cared people and he would always help anyone who needed it if he could. He will be remembered and missed always.
