SUZANNE CHAMBERS OBITUARY Suzanne K. Chambers, age 81, and a resident of Amherst, passed away at home, cared for by her loving daughters on Saturday, December 17, 2022.Suzanne was born July 24, 1941, in Erie, Pennsylvania, to the late Clark and Helen (nee Mackey) Bunce. She was a graduate of Thiel College with a Bachelor of Science degree. Throughout her life, Suzanne enjoyed boating, the outdoors, reading, the beach, her friends and most of all, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Suzanne, was retired from Amherst Schools after 27 years of employment as a substitute teacher. Suzanne was a member of Amherst United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Linda (Guy) Philips, Lisa (Ali) Hossein, Laurie (Steve) McKnight, Leslie (Todd) Dunfee; her eight grandchildren, Guy, Gwyneth, Chambers, Suzanne, Grace, Nate, Tallulah, and Murphy and her two great grandchildren Peyton and Miles.In addition to her parents, Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Harry Chambers, Jr. and her brother David Bunce. A celebration of life will be Friday, April 7, 2023, at Ziggy's Pub and Restaurant at 6 pm. In Suzanne's honor, memorials may be made to Mercy New Life Hospice, 3500 Kolbe Road, Lorain, OH 44053.
