Ross M. Johnson, age 83, peacefully passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk. He was born July 8, 1938 to the late Peter and Gertrude (nee Wolfrom) Johnson in Avon. Ross was a 1957 graduate of Avon High School and served faithfully in the United States Marine Corps. He was retired from BF Goodrich where he worked for many years. Ross had various hobbies, but deeply loved his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he loved to spoil. Survivors include his wife of nearly 58 years Lois M. Johnson (nee Taddeo), their children Scott (Linda) Johnson of Florence Township, Peter Johnson of Elyria, Amy Kayser of New London, grandchildren; Sarah Davis, Ashley and Brooke Johnson, Katie and Connie Kayser, and his sister Karen Matthews of Sheffield Village. In addition to his parents, Ross was preceded in death by his sisters Mayella Kowalczyk Lester and Carol Morris. Family will receive friends 2-4 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, 851 Park Avenue, Amherst.
