Robert Lee Swiger, 60, of Jonesborough Tennessee, formerly of Lorain, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, from complications of covid. He was born September 10, 1960 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Clyde and Blanche (Malone - Swiger) Robert enjoyed spending time with his wife and family and was always the life of the party. Survivors include his wife of 40 Years, Brenda (Skaggs), son Joseph and his favorite daughter-in-law (Megan), granddaughters Elizabeth and Emma, all of Dublin, brothers Clyde D. (Barbara Swiger) of Jonesborough, TN., Worley Turner of Barberton, sisters Louise Powell of Denim Springs, LA., Lucille (Bud Barr), Rose (Granville Criss), Deloris (Bob Swiger) all of West Union, WV., Bessie (Larry Pettit) of Lorain, Rebecca Knight of PA., and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Benjamin, Roxie, Geneva, Floyd, Elizabeth, Clarence, and Ruth. Family will receive friends on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 6-8 p.m., at the Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, 851 Park Ave, Amherst. The funeral service will take place at noon on Tuesday at the funeral home followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery, South Amherst. Pastor James Justice will officiate the service.
