Michael "Mike" G. Carroll, age 43 and a resident of Oberlin, passed away at his residence on Monday, July 11, 2022. Mike was born June 25, 1979 in Oberlin to the late Michael R. and Nina (nee Johnson) Carroll. He was a graduate of Firelands High School and Lorain County Joint Vocational School. For several years Mike was employed at both the South Amherst Quarries and the Kipton Quarries. He was a self-taught auto mechanic which is what he worked at later after he completed his employment at the quarries. Mike was a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan, a fantastic cook, and enjoyed fishing. Most of all, Mike loved his family and his dog "Chance" very much. Survivors include his wife of 14 years Tracey (nee Chase) Carroll, his sister Amanda Carroll (Tim), step-children; Ashley Hembree, Samantha (Derrick) Beatty, Melissa Hembree, and five grandchildren; Garrett, Jace, Olivia, Jade, and Scarlett.
