Karen Ann (Pinson) Ward our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away with her family by her side on May 22,2023 at the age of 71 years. Karen was Born March 19, 1952, in Pikeville, Kentucky before moving and becoming a resident of Lorain County where she raised her children. Karen enjoyed hobbies of going to garage sales, flea markets, reading, DIY projects, gardening, sitting on her back porch with her son and their dogs while drinking coffee, camping and cooking for her family. Most of all, Karen enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She is survived by her children, Angela Hardie (Jeff), Michelle Ward-Mowery (Brian), John Ward (Laura), Jason Ward, Franklin Ward, Lawrence Dozier III, Alexa Agular (Dante), Lisa Santiago, Isabella Ward, Karen's surviving sibling include Jerry Pinson (LaDonna), Vicky Sebastian (Stanley), Marcia Scott (John) and Krista Zirkle (Malcom). Karen is going to be missed dearly by her 21 grandkids Brandon, Ashley, Brett, Brian, Emily, Megan, Mike, Kevin, Katlyn, Alexandra, MaKendra, Bella, Frankie, Steven, Nicholas, Preston, Jordan, Owen, Logan, Sebastian, Jackson, Lillianna Aguilar, Tony, Chelsea and 25 great grandkids among a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents Okey and Lee Tillie Mae McCoy, parents Victor K. Pinson and Edna A. (McCoy)Pinson, her brother Kenneth Ray, Son in-law Randy Hardie and granddaughters Amanda and Miranda Ward. Family and friends may call Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, 851 Park Ave., Amherst, OH 44001.
