Joyce Lynn Morrow, age 68 and a life resident of Amherst, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

Joyce was born in Amherst, December 8, 1956 to the late Hayden and Opal (nee Hammond) Morrow.  She was a graduate of Marion L. Steele High School and Cedarville University.  Joyce spent her working career as a social worker, employed by Lorain County and serving children.

She enjoyed her work, but since retired - she loved her old school police shows, relaxing on her front porch during beautiful days, and spoiling all of her grandchildren and great grand babies. To Joyce, there was nothing more enjoyable than seeing the people she loved and cared for, happy.

Joyce was survived by her several grand-children and great-grandchildren who she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband Delbert Queen (2024).

Family will receive friends at the Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, 851 Park Avenue, Amherst on Friday, May 23, 2025 from noon until 1:30 p.m., time of funeral service.  Rev. Mark Telepak will officiate.  Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
