(Jacopin) Pulcer
February 8, 1936 – December 23, 2023
Donna Jean Pulcer (nee Jacopin), 87, died on Saturday, December 23, 2023 after a lengthy illness. She was born to Philip and Jeanne Jacopin of Amherst on February 8, 1936. She graduated from Amherst Steele High School in 1954. In 1960, she married Robert Pulcer Jr. and moved to Lorain, where the couple raised their three children. A lifelong resident of Lorain County, Donna was an active member of her community. She worked as a teller at both Lorain National Bank and City Bank, and later served as the secretary for St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and School in Elyria. She also volunteered for many years, including stints as the chairwoman of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Vincent's and as the local organizer for the American Heart Association fundraisers. Donna was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her son Thomas Pulcer, and her twin brother Donald Jacopin. She is survived by daughters Roberta Pulcer of Amherst and Dawn (Ed) Loos of Medina, as well as one grandson, two nephews, dear cousins, and many friends. Family will receive friends at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 41295 North Ridge Road, Elyria on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m., with burial following in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, Amherst, entrusted with arrangements.
