Charles R. Morris Jr., "Buddy", passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Amherst Manor. Buddy was born April 2, 1937 in Somerset, Pennsylvania to the late Charles R. Morris Sr. and Bridget M. (nee Haley) Morris.  He moved to Cleveland with his family in 1955.  In 1997 he relocated to Lorain and following that, in 1998 he moved to Amherst where he remained. Throughout his life Buddy worked as a machine operator, working at Manco, Avon from where he retired in 2002. During the summer he enjoyed vegetable gardening. Survivors include his wife of 23 years Irene A. (nee Ehlert) and nieces Fran Williams and Bianca Bohannon (Andy Meyers), and his great niece Emersyn Bohannon. In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by his sisters; Margaret Copen, Charlotte Sherman, Barbara Orlandi, and Patricia Grinnel.

A private burial will take place at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, Amherst entrusted with arrangements.
