In loving memory of Chad B. Milam, born November 11, 1953 to Billy S. and Ella Mae (nee Akers) Milam in Bluefield, West Virginia. Chad was raised in South Amherst where he then graduated from high school. He was a remarkable man who touched the lives of everyone he met. Chad was a devoted husband and a loyal friend. His presence warmed every room and his unlimited stories will be missed. After retiring, he enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, and traveling. He was known for making enticing cheesecakes! Chad was always kind and had a love of people, having never met a stranger. Chad was employed for 41 years at United States Steel, Lorain.
Survivors include his wife Kimberly (nee Wooten) Milam, daughter Lisa (Bryan) Michaels, son Nick (Megan) Milam, step-daughters Kylie, Kristin, and Summer, his four grandchildren; Tegan, Kara, Jakoby, and Jaiel, and his brother Chris (Debbie) Milam.
He was preceded in death by his parents Billy S. and Ella Mae Milam and his brother Brad Milam.
Family will receive friends at the Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, 851 Park Avenue, Amherst from 5-7 p.m., on Thursday, August 3, 2023. There will be a Celebration of Life at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
