OBITUARY
JUDITH REOTT

Judith “Judy” Reott, 82, a life-long resident of Lorain, died Saturday,
February 12, surrounded by family at Avon Oaks Nursing Home.
She was born November 16, 1939, the second of Earl and Betty (Scherck)
Andrews’ nine children. In 1957, Judy graduated from St. Mary’s High School,
where she was the captain of the cheerleading squad. After enrolling briefly
at Bowling Green, she moved to Florida where she met the love of her life,

22, 1961. For the next 29 joyful years together, they raised their four
children, owned TJ Reott Builders, played golf, and hosted countless parties
for their many friends and family.
Judy was big-hearted and generous and a devout Catholic. She loved to read
and play games, especially Bridge and Rummikub. Though heart-broken
following the loss of her husband in 1990, her faith, strength, and love for
family guided her through. She remained an avid golfer, winning multiple
club championships at both Oak Hills and Oberlin Country Clubs.
