Lois Carolyn Korfmacher (nee Buser) entered into heaven early Dec 14th, 2020 in Warren, Indiana. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother. She was born on July 31, 1931 to the late Rev. Daniel and Evelyn Buser in Canton, Ohio. Her early years were spent in Iowa and then in Amherst, Ohio - where she graduated from Amherst High School in 1949. She lived in Ohio, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Indiana throughout her adult life.

Throughout her career and until her retirement she was a bank teller. Lois enjoyed singing in her church choir, collecting antiques, listening to classical music, and baking cookies for friends and family; but mostly she enjoyed her family and grandchildren. Lois and  her husband Allen were committed Christians and very proud to be able to put all three of their children through Taylor University, a noted Christian college. Lois lived a full and wonderful life, and was deeply loved and cherished. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Allen Korfmacher; one brother, Daniel Buser; a sister, Ruth Glandorf; and her parents. She leaves behind her two daughters Sherryl Haines (Lowell) of Indianapolis, Ind. and Doreen Petrovitch (Dale) of Wallingford, Pa; her son, Ron Korfmacher (Julie) of Upland, Ind; six grandchildren - Sara (Justin), Hannah, Ben, Rachel, Daniel and Samuel; three great-grandchildren; her sister, Martha Straw; and two brothers, Paul Buser, and John Buser.

The burial will be private. A memorial service and celebration of Lois’ life will be held in the future.
