OBITUARY
JENNIFER A. HEJNAL

Jennifer “Jenn” A. Hejnal, age 49 and a resident of Amherst, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at her residence after a long illness.
Jenn was born March 25, 1973 in Cleveland to Alan N. Hejnal and the late Bonnie C. (nee King) Hejnal. She was a 1991 graduate of Avon High School and was also a graduate of Lorain County Community College where she credentialed in the medical assistant program. For many years she was a server at the former Dusty’s in Avon and had spent the last twelve years working at the Lorain County Free Clinic. Jenn enjoyed coloring and drawing, studying her family’s genealogy, camping, and most of all she loved animals.
Survivors include her son Edward J. Hejnal of Amherst, father Alan N. Hejnal of Amherst, brother and sister-in-law Sean and Teresa Hejnal of Lorain, and her nieces Rebecca, Susan, and Erin.
Family will receive friends 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. this Saturday at the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. There will be a 1 p.m. service at the funeral home followed by a gathering at Amvets Post 47, 3009 Broadway Avenue, Lorain.
