Gloria J. Zust (nee Yegielo), age 77 and a longtime resident of Vermilion,
passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at University Hospitals, Cleveland
after a sudden illness.

Gloria was born in Lorain on September 28, 1944 to the late Matthew and
Betty (nee Telezerow) Yegielo.  She was a 1962 graduate of Admiral King High
School.  Gloria moved from Lorain to Vermilion in 1973 which is where she
remained and raised her family there.  Gloria's life was spent in complete
devotion to her family and her church, St. Mary Catholic Church of
Vermilion.  She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends.
Gloria took an active interest in her children's school activities,
especially attending their high school musicals and helping with their extra
curricular activities.  At St. Mary's Church, Gloria was a member of the
church's choir, was very involved in fundraising events benefiting the
church, and formerly taught Sunday School for several years.   Gloria was a
wonderful grandmother to her grandson Jason and was instrumental in raising
him along with his mother and attended many of his school activities.

Survivors include her three children; Brian (Rosa) Zust of California,
Michael Zust of Vermilion, Kimberly Raeburn of Vermilion, her grandson Jason
Richardson of Vermilion, sister Barbara Szczepanowski of North Carolina,
brothers Steven (Diane) Yegielo  of Georgia and James (Marilyn) Yegielo of
North Ridgeville.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her
brother-in-law Donald Szczepanowski (2021).

Family will receive friends at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange St.,
Vermilion, on Monday from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. time of funeral mass.
will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

Cleveland, OH  44115.
