In loving memory of Barbara Jean Swartz "Barb" (nee McCullaugh).

 

  Barb was born in Elyria on April 5, 1931.  She was preceded in death by her parents
Robert and Agnes McCullaugh, siblings Earl McCullaugh, Louise Staszak, Lillian Zvosec, Joan Hambly, Donna Morris, Lucille McCullaugh, and Bobby  McCullaugh.  Barn spent the last 71 years of her life married to the love of her life and raising a family.  She is survived by her husband Carl Richard Swartz "Dick", sons Carl Richard Swartz Jr. "Dick" and Larry Allen Swartz (Jane), daughters Cynthia Marie Romes "Cindy" (Kirk), Mary Kathryn Amador (Gilbert, deceased) and Nanette Renee Berdiel "Nan" (Mario).  There is also a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

Barb and Dick were able to see a good share of this great  Country of ours, from Alaska to Florida, while touring around in their RV. When Barb wasn't witnessing to others about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, she enjoyed puzzles and table games.  She gave to a number of charities and was loved and respected by those who knew her.  Barb's final days were spent at her husband's side in assisted living at Lorain Estates where she went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 27, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

Family will receive friends at the Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, 851 Park Avenue, Amherst on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 5-8 p.m.  Services will take place noon on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Billy Glover of First Baptist Church officiating.  Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
