Constance "Connie" Kroll, (nee Zust), age 86 and a resident of Lorain, passed away at her residence on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from pancreatic cancer.
Connie was born November 13, 1937 to her late parents Edna and Anthony Zust in Cleveland. She graduated from Avon High School in 1955. Connie was employed as a private secretary for the Sales Manager at American Telephone & Telegraph in Cleveland. She also had a real estate license in Ohio.
She is survived by her daughter Kathy "Kat" Kroll, two granddaughters Bailey Hobson Kroll and Jordan Hobson Kroll, great granddaughter Maia, her sister Diana Beopple of Vermilion, brother Dan Zust of Coupeville, Washington, brother & sister-in-law Ken & Carolyn Krol of Lorain, brother-in-law & sister-in-law Michael & Carolyn Krol of Renton, Washington, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years Donald F. Kroll (2021) and her brother Richard Zust (2012).
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Paul Schreiner of St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange St., Vermilion, 11 a.m., on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
Private family interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
